Fourth Generation Family Business

Family necessity led Aaron Edward Conrad to forgo his final years of education to become a lather at the age of 16. He would later include his wife, Anna and brother, Elmer to officially incorporate the company on January 10, 1927. AE Conrad Company has built walls across the United States. Notable projects include the Denver Courthouse, Emory University, and Mayo Clinic.


AE Conrad Company is a proud charter member of the Minneapolis Builders Exchange, has served on the board of Lath and Plaster Bureau since 1980, serves as trustee to the Carpenters and Plasters Pension, Health and Welfare Funds, and has held membership with the Association of Walls and Ceilings Industry (AWCI) since 1970.
